Executive Short Breaks help you make the link between your wellbeing and your performance as a leader. Drawing on the research from Senge, Jaworski, Collins, Goleman, Prochaska and DiClemente, Kabat-Zinn, Kegan and Lahey and others, Executive Short Breaks is designed to give you the tools of mind and body to use for work and other aspects of your life. The focus is on change that transforms and sustains you rather than on a transactional experience. Download the PDF here
Executive Short Breaks has four modules. Each module is structured to take a “short break” from your office and meetings and participate either in a group session or an individual session and focus on what is important to you. This time and the time in between sessions allows for reflection, practise and sustainable behaviour change.
The first three modules can be used as “stand alone” modules. The fourth module builds on previous learnings and deepens your practice and understanding
The Intensives involve one-on-one coaching, designed to help you experience a greater integration of your doing life with your being life; to expand your emotional intelligence for work and family, increase clarity and creativity and build your energy and sense of wellbeing.
Strategic Intent’s Short Break Intensives involve a minimum of eight sessions, which can include four sessions of body awareness with our physiotherapist. We can also customise your program using selected Short Breaks modules, to ensure you receive the coaching that works best for you.
Silence is a treasure that is becoming increasingly elusive to us in our busy and noisy lives.
The experience of silence allows us to be still, to listen deeply and be present in the world. When we can be in silence we begin to understand that this state of being is not a vacuum, but a source of creativity, compassion and wisdom.
We invite you to join us for a day of reflection and an opportunity to be in your own good company. Throughout the day you will be led through a variety of mindfulness meditations, including body scan, sitting, lying and walking meditations and gentle stretching.
The Day of Silence is designed to support past participants of any of our mindfulness programs. As a group, you will practice guided meditations in silence until the end of the day, when we will purposefully and intentionally enter again into speech.
